Research
Our understanding of the many issues surrounding entrepreneurial behavior in a poverty context remains limited. And yet, an emerging body of research is available that has begun to identify and address some of the more fundamental questions. This research explores the entrepreneurial process and its antecedents and outcome, adopts different levels of analysis, and represents a mix of theoretical, conceptual and empirical contributions. It also includes policy-related work. We distinguish scholarly and applied research, and organize the scholarly work around major topical areas.
